Huck PAC Supports Stutzman and Pence

From Huck PAC:

Marlin Stutzman – For United States Senate 2010

Huck PAC and I are pleased to support Marlin Stutzman for U.S. Senate. Marlin is unabashedly pro-life, and his position on protecting unborn children isn’t political it’s personal. Marlin is a member of the NRA and has received an A+ rating from the organization – in part for his work on getting Indiana’s lifetime handgun permit passed. …We need more people like Marlin Stutzman in Washington because he’ll work for the right kind of change in D.C. Please join me in supporting Marlin Stutzman for U.S. Senate from Indiana.

Mike Pence -For Congress 2010

Huck PAC and I are pleased to endorse my good friend, Congressman Mike Pence for re-election as Congressman for the 6th Congressional District of Indiana. Mike needs no introduction to the members of Huck PAC or to conservative Republicans across the country. His credentials as a conservative are above reproach.

Record Breaking
by Mike Huckabee

Since the passage of Obamacare last Sunday night against the wishes of the American people, we have had over 2,300 donations to Huck PAC. That is a record response for Huck PAC. Thank you!
In fact, my team and I set a goal of 3,000 donations by Wednesday at midnight and as of this morning we are just 607 away. If you haven’t made a donation I hope you will please consider $5 or more to Huck PAC’s efforts to elect conservatives nationwide.

Tiny Joe made the news

A recent article in the Pharos-Tribune celebrates 60 years of a radio station in Logansport, IN:

WSAL, which stands for “Station At Logansport”, earned the nickname “Our gal Sal” and it’s a nickname that has stuck over the years.
The station went on the air on Feb. 24, 1949, and was issued a license from the FCC on April 26, 1949.
Originally housed in the basement of a home on Main Street, the station moved to 619 Main Street, next to the home, and stayed there until moving to its present home at 425 Second St. in 1999.
Tiny Joe Jordan was WSAL’s first station manager and he remained there until he died in January 1951. R.W. Baker took over from Jordan, according to a 1954 edition of “Air Pockets,” a radio publication.

Tiny Joe is my grandfather who died when my dad was still young.  It’s exciting to see his name in the news!

Müller Moment

As a family, we have been reading a biograpy of George Müller.  He had an amazing faith.  Anytime he had a need, he took it to the Lord in prayer.  God provided!  In many cases, within 10-15 minutes after praying, a package or letter would arrive meeting the need.

As I was reading a blog today from The Earth Expedition, I recognized a “Muller Moment”.

Bryan Schlackman writes:

I didn’t know what to do now because as I walked down the road more, everyone around was the same marshy condition. So I just started praying intently for God to find us a place to stay. And about ½ a mile up the road was a little village with literally about 100 people in it called Bleich. And the first person I saw who was walking out of their house saw us and I walked directly toward him. I went up to and told him our situation and he kindly said that he didn’t have any room in the house but he would let us stay in his backyard. I didn’t hesitate for a second!

From his website:

The focus of my campaign is to re-establish the importance of self government. Of all our founding principles self government is the most important because it ensures all the others. Without self government there is no Freedom. The federal government is good at national security and infrastructure but they are really bad at spending our money and raising our kids. The more the government expands the more Liberty we lose. America is the greatest nation in the history of the world because for two hundred years we have governed ourselves. It is time we got back to that basic understanding. -Travis Hankins
